Homemade red iced tea with xylitol

Summer heat: It makes you crave a cool drink that isn't too high in calories. This summery hibiscus iced tea is sweetened only with a little xylitol, a natural sugar alternative that doesn't cause cavities.

Preparation

Weigh all the ingredients and bring them to a boil.

Using a funnel, pour the boiling tea through a strainer directly into a sterilized 1-liter bottle.

Let the homemade hibiscus iced tea cool in the bottle for a few hours.

Instead of xylitol, you can also use sugar, agave syrup or stevia leaves.
The apple juice concentrate can also be replaced with 1 apple, cut into small pieces.
Hibiscus flowers can be replaced with rooibos tea.
