60 g xylitol [Order No: 303]
1 litre of boiling water

Preparation
Wash the lemons thoroughly.
Now peel the skin of the lemons using a peeler. Be careful to peel only the yellow outer skin. The white underneath is bitter.
Then cut the lemons in half and juice them.
Put the juice, pulp and any seeds in a jug with the lemon peel and xylitol and pour boiling water over everything. Stir briefly and leave to cool.
Put the cooled lemonade in the fridge overnight.
Strain the lemonade before serving and serve in a jug with ice cubes and some mint leaves.
The ready-made lemonade can be kept in the fridge for a few days.
Summer heat: It makes you crave a cool drink that isn't too high in calories. This summery hibiscus iced tea is sweetened only with a little xylitol, a natural sugar alternative that doesn't cause cavities. [294]
The idea for this tasty drink originally comes from Egypt. There it is prepared from carob, water, and sugar and served cool as a refreshing drink. [182]
